Dr. Clements graduated Magna Cum Laude from Arkansas State University in 1992 with a B.S. in Psychology. He then pursued his Master’s Degree in Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Ft. Worth, Texas.

Dr. Clements earned a Medical Degree from the University of Arkansas (UAMS). While there, he served as president of his medical school class all four years. He then completed his psychiatry residency at the University of Oklahoma-Tulsa, where he served as chief resident in 2003-2004. Dr. Clements is also Board-Certified in General Psychiatry.

Dr. Clements joined the Paul Meier Clinics in September 2004, as the Director of Adolescent Psychiatry. While there, he developed Breakaway, an intensive outpatient program aimed at troubled youth. Dr. Clements co-hosted “Meier Clinics Live”, a nationally syndicated, call-in radio show, and was also the Medical Editor of Community Kids, a magazine focusing on raising successful children in today’s society.

Dr. Clements co-authored his first book, Blue Genes, with Dr. Meier, and it was published in October 2005, by Tyndale Publishers. His second book (also from Tyndale), What I’ve Learned Since I Knew it All, is due out in 2008.
